Dyson airblade
Although typically known for mass-market products, Dyson also applies its ingenuity to construction products and has made significant investment in the hand-dryer market. Now Dyson is reaching out to specifiers with the perfect hand-dryer solutions and in doing so has selected SpecifiedBy as its perfect conduit for disseminating product information.
Dyson’s Airblade hand-dryer has been entrusted to SpecifiedBy to offer its specifier audience a superior product, perfectly engineered to overcome environmental challenges and save space, reduce noise output and avoid dangerous water puddles in the washroom.
Neil Solanki, Dyson’s UK Specification Manager commented: “We have been following the work of SpecifiedBy for some time and have been impressed with their delivery and technical capabilities. Although we have good relationships with a number of architects, we felt the time was right to work with a partner whom could give us access to a significantly larger number of new users for our products. As innovators in our field, we have the vision to understand what our clients and indeed the industry needs, and now we have a partner in SpecifiedBy which can transcend our innovations to be accessible at the finger-tips of the very people we want to work with.”
Darren Lester, Founder and CEO of SpecifiedBy added: “As an industry we often forget that our clients are just the same as B2C consumers, they want choice, transparency and comparability. We offer something different and much more useful than the traditional product directory – we’re changing the face of product specification, providing smart, effective solutions to find the right product, we are making selection simple.
“That’s why when Dyson asked us to showcase their hand-dryer products, we knew they would benefit from increased selection, driven through the best use of their product data. We aim to create positive user experiences via our intelligent platforms, for both the manufacturer and the specifier.”
